2025 End Of Summer Edition

Summer has come to an end, and we’re excited to share what’s been happening at the club and what’s coming up. From entertaining events to a look ahead at our upcoming activities, each season offers connection, celebration, and community.

Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the club, we’re glad you’re here. Let’s make the most of our time together.

As I reflect on where the past several months has gone, it is hard to fathom that the summer months have just left and we are about to embark upon the fall and soon to be winter months.  As I look across the lake, the trees have just begun to change colours. Actually, I noticed that the leaves on many trees on some highways are starting to change their colours so there is hope that we will have

an abundance of colour this fall.   I heard that trees may be in a state of flux this year, not knowing if their leaves should be changing from green to yellow, to orange, to burnt red and/or purple as the summer did not provide the much-needed rain for the leaves to continue on their journey.  When we needed rain, we got weeks of dry conditions and when we wanted a warm sunny day, like Monday on

the club’s road trip to Almonte, we got rain. Go figure.  But I can’t complain, or at least we shouldn’t complain because we have had some remarkable days filled with good times, laughter and adventure.

Let’s recap some of the activities our club has been doing in the summer review below.
