2025 Winter Edition Reporting

Christmas Lights  |  Christmas Dinner  |  Christmas Parade

As the year began to wind down, November and December arrived like they always do: quietly at first, then all at once. One minute it was “just a bit chilly,” and the next everyone was wrapped up like human burritos, insisting this winter was definitely colder than the last.

November: The Calm Before The Chaos

November was the month of focus… at least in theory. Lessons and routines carried on as usual, but everyone knew December was lurking just around the corner.

November also brought reflection.

And of course, the clocks went back, meaning it was suddenly dark at 4:30 p.m., which felt completely unnecessary and slightly personal.

December: Festive, Fast, Slightly Chaotic

Then December arrived—and with it, a blur of activity. Decorations appeared overnight, music got louder, and suddenly everyone was an expert on how many days til the holidays. There was excitement, laughter, and just a tiny bit of end-of-year tiredness showing on everyone’s faces.

December also had its serious side—a time to finish strong, reflect on the year, and appreciate how far everyone had come. Between the fun and the festive spirit, there is a sense of wrapping things up and getting ready for a fresh start.
