2026 January Meeting
Thursday, January 29, was the first dinner of 2026.
Annette Charbonneau and staff served us a delicious roast beef dinner. We presented our first-ever Certificate of Appreciation to Ursula Strachan in honour of her husband, Don Strachan.
Don was a member of the Club 55 Plus Executive, serving as VP, President, and Past President. He also helped with Bogie Lights and the Christmas Party Committee. In the community, he supported the Senior Games and Canada Day Committee.
After the presentation, the AGM took place, followed by music by Peggy Williams.

2026 March Meeting
38 members attended the March 26th dinner meeting. The Redneck Bistro served Lasagna and Chicken Alfredo.
Doug and Cathy Jordan provided Trivia entertainment, drawing on Irish, Canadian and Who Would Ever Know That questions. The winners walked away with chocolate bars, scratch tickets and fine dining at Tim’s.

2026 April Meeting
55 members attended the dinner meeting, dining on a selection of Chinese food. A few members stayed after the meal to dance to 1950’s – 1960’s music.

2026 May Meeting
May 2026 Dinner Meeting
The highlight of the May 2026 dinner was a movie trivia game organized by Marilynn and Dave Luce. There were a possible 50 movie answers. The winning team/table had 40 correct. The second-place team/table had 35 correct. The dinner from Charbonneau’s was honey garlic chicken.
